Water Gesture, 2025

The works draw inspiration from the sedimentation of material and water’s ability to shape landscapes. By simulating this process in water tanks, the works develop patterns that evoke erosion, deposition, and decay.

Stone dust is used to replicate the process of sedimentation.  Its properties make it possible to create textures that mimic sedimentary formations, while its interaction with water introduces a spontaneous and unpredictable dimension to the surfaces of the works.

The project aims to invite viewers to reflect on the influence of water - not only on the material itself, but also as a metaphor for humanity’s relationship with nature.
